Getting Closer :~)

It's Wednesday, only two more days until the weekend. Wes is feeling much better today so it made for a fun filled afternoon. He is quite a funny boy but extremely needy as you can imagine at this age. The transition from two older boys to a baby was rough but Wes made it pretty easy. He is so advanced for his age and not what you think, I'm pretty sure he talked back to me today because I asked him to clean his room. I mean is it too much to ask? He is two and if he's talking back to me, darn it, he can clean his room and the kitchen while he's at it:)
I was so excited because I got three new cookbooks in the mail today! Of course, it took Trev and Tal all of 15 minutes home to dump milk on my favorite one rendering the first chapter useless. Oh well I can just go straight to the dessert section, yum! When I get new cooking magazines and books I mark my favorite pages and later when I go back to pick out a dinner menu, I find I have marked mostly desserts and maybe two main dishes. I'm going to have to work on that.
Well anywho, another riveting day in the life of Nicole (a.k.a Fitness Freak).
